We are an RYA Recognised Training Centre, based at Preston Marina .

Our classrooms at Preston offer very comfortable, self contained, accommodation, with both catering facilites and chandlery immediately on-hand.
From Preston Training Centre we offer year round RYA shorebased courses, including Day Skipper, Yachtmaster/Coastal Skipper, VHF SRC and Diesel.

For the forthcoming 2010 Boating season we will also be offering RYA Level 1 and 2 Powerboat courses, from the base at Preston Marina.

The Powerboat courses will be run on our new 18 ft Pilot House Quicksilver, a "Fast Fisher" design with planing hull and 75HP Mercury.

RYA Yacht Cruising Practicals are offered in association with our training partner, 1st Scotsail Training, operating out of Largs Marina. The Clyde Coast provides an ideal training ground for the RYA Practicals, with no tidal restrictions (access at all states of tide), as well as relatively sheltered waters allowing us to sail in all but the most extreme conditions.

The Scotsail training yacht, Bolero IV, is a modern high quality, teak decked Hanse 411. We keep Bolero to the standard of a very well maintained privately owned yacht - it's definately not a typical "dog eared" sailing school boat!
