ESSENTAL NAV & SAFETY – £160 inc RYA pack

This is a 2 day basic course, run at the weekend and ideal for all kinds of water sports enthusiasts, from Divers to Anglers, from Dinghy Sailers to  Kayakers.
An introduction to using Nautical Charts, Tide Tables & basic “Rules of the Road” 

We will run these as and when required (min 2 people) - register your interest asap

DIESEL – £75 inc RYA pack

 1 Day – (Usually Saturday or Sundays)
We will run these as and when required (min 2 people) - register your interest asap

VHF SRC (SHORT RANGE CERTIFICATE) – £75 inc RYA pack (+RYA Certification Fee £30)

 1 Day – (Usually Saturday or Sundays)
We will run these once a month (min 2 people) - register your interest asap

VHF CONVERTION COURSE FOR DSC OPERATION – £45  (+RYA Certification Fee £30)

 1 Day – (Usually Saturday or Sundays)
We will run these as and when required (min 2 people) - register your interest asap

 
PRACTICAL COURSES

POWERBOAT
Following the completion of the RYA accreditation process, it is intended to offer weekend Powerboat courses from the facilities at Preston Marina.

RYA LEVEL 1 a 1 day introductory course for the complete novice
RYA LEVEL 2 a 2 day course for those with some experience

During the summer preparations of the training vessel will be underway, including trial manoeuvring, and there may be opportunities for potential students to accompany the instructor on free of charge “experience” trips.

YACHT CRUISING
All RYA Practical courses are available from our Training Partners, 1st Scotsail Training, operating out of Largs Marina in the Firth of Clyde – a perfect training ground, with the variety, weather and tidal conditions necessary to get the best out of the RYA syllabus. Practical Courses start at the end of March and run through until the end of October.
